I am sorry that this happened to you.I have had the same issues with certain members of my family. Trying not to care what they say sounds like an easy solution, but I think that it is hard to just ignore these type of comments from people who are supposed love and support you. Ignoring these comments from strangers, coworkers, acquaintances, etc is much easier.I got fed up with the family inqusition and was able to stop all of the questions - for now anyway. Before I say how, I want to acknowledge that yes I know that my response was childish but I was really fed up. I started asking similar questions of the offending family members everytime I saw them. They don't necessarily buy LV, but they do buy designer clothes, jewelry, shoes, etc. So I started asking things like "Is that outfit new? How much did it cost? Are those shoes new? Who made them?
