Well as someone in my early twenties I dont think it's a hood idea at all. I fell in love with brand when I was 12 but got my first bag when I was 18 years old.Ofcourse I had told my parents how much I appreciated the bag and bla bla bla but honestly if you have never worked for your cash how can you really appreciate something expansive like a label bag!? I don't think it's sillly at all, you should buy what you love! I love the slg's as much as the purses, but I'm kind of on a handbag binge right now, so I haven't bought as many SLG's lately.
