Hello TPFers, I have to share this story with you. We all love and adore my Great Aunt, who is now in her late 80s. She is the aunt that everyone should have: very caring and loving. She always makes sure that she gives all of us (her grandchildern, great nieces, and so on) little gifts whenever she travelled. It is just her thing. Let me explain that my Aunt is very intelligent, but she simply doesn't know designer bags. However, she does know that I like a certain brand/designer, but that is about it. So recently, she went to New York to visit one of her relatives (from her husband's side). While there, her relative took her shopping. She called me to tell me that she bought special gifts for me and my cousin. When I arrived at her place, my cousin was already there. I could tell right away that my cousin was trying hard to control her laughter. My Great Aunt, bless her heart, who couldn't contain her excitement, gave me a plastic shopping bag and said, "here is a bag by that Louis guy you love so much. As soon as I saw it, I thought Sabella would love this one. The nice young man who sold it to me put a belt inside. I think the belt might be too small, but you can add holes and wear it." I was confused by what she meant by the belt until I opened the plastic bag. In there was the ugliest Manhattan GM fake I've ever seen!! My cousin later told me that the look on my face was priceless. Of course, I controlled my reaction and thanked my Aunt for a great gift. She said that she would love to see my carrying the bag. I really couldn't tell her that it was a fake and that I couldn't carry it. She was sooo excited and happy that she got me this gift. Therefore, I decided to keep the bag by that Louis guy just because it is from my wonderful Great Aunt. Thought to share this story with you. I have the Delightful MM and I've never had problems with slipping. I do own several other LV shoulder bags and other shoulder bags in general and I don't have that problem either. I have read on tpf where others consistently have that problem. The problem that I do have is my hair getting caught in the strap of my Delightful. I have no idea why though. louis vuitton n60017

I think it's kind of cool...supposedly if it's someone else's initials would you have gotten it? I would probably feel weird getting a bag with someone else's initials. Because it's "L.V" it's kind of generic and almost like the idea of name plate. Plus you got it at a bargain. I like the colors!
