I have seen threads here about feeling safe or not safe in areas with LV, but have also read that many carry their bags while taking the bus/train. I do not live in a large city but we have buses that go everywhere. EVERYONE has cars though. Im trying to finish college and have decided to take the buses (they go everywhere i need to go and cost almost nothing). I could be broke all the time for a car but I dont feel the need at all for one at the moment. So, my sister and ladys at work have made comments that I should NOT use my LV (mono speedy) while taking the bus. Of course they also make comments saying they would never use a bag that expensive at all for fear of it getting stolen. I use my coach bags or Juicy bag while taking the bus now. I have had people notice those brands (no negative comments, just things like "wow that is a really nice bag" and if my Juicy bag was real lol). I have never seen anyone else on the bus with a designer bag, well, there are a lot of fakes but no authentic ones. I would also say that 90% of the people I ride the bus with are on the poor side (Its pretty much thought of here that you only take the bus if you are poor). Im just not sure that useing my LV bag would draw any more attention then my coach bags & Juicy bag have (people seem to think those cost $1000). And with so many fakes I would think people would assume it's not real anyway. I think its the way *I* look more then what bags I use. Useing my friends words, I look like "a rich little teenage girl" (Im almost 21 but I am told I look 16) so people would notice my designer bag and assume its real and I have lots of money on me. For those of you that use public buses do you see other designer bags? Do you use yours? I REALLY want to use my speedy, but dont want to be stupid about it either!Oh and btw I have taken my bag to college here several times (when my dad use to drive me) and I never had any problem, or anyone even notice that i am aware of!
