Hi all, I am here again. LOL... So, as some of you might read my previos posts, my husband ordered me a bloomsbury pm, and it came yesterday in the mail. It was a little small for my everyday things to fit. I wanted a crossbody that I can carry and hands free when we go to the zoo or anything outing that I'll have my 3 kids with me. Lying in bed, hubby said: keep the Bloomsbury and look for a preloved Galliera. I said: why? He said: I like the look of the bloomsbury pm on you and you need a small bag that you can't stuff to the maximum capacity, and when you have trouble or tired of carrying it, you pass it to me to carry. I don't want to carry your heavy bags especially when we are out walking a lot. LOL... I said: okay. I will look for a preloved tomorrow...But what about xmas? he said: maybe you'll get something else besides LV for a change. Awww... he is so sweet. So here it is... You call it a price increase , I call it an outright robbery. It's an insult. I brought days after the Feb. increase, planning another multiple-buy in Sept/Oct. I just don't know about the value at this point. For instance I would like a black Epi Speedy 25, or better yet a new color. Current price 1,200 (yesterday's price 1,030) but resells often at 500-600. I've never brought pre-owned, but that difference is enough to make you say hmm...And I would only "like" to have the bag, not die for it. At the current price point, I personally like color, or a dash of the unexpected sometime. Louis Vuitton is very casual or very mature right now, with very little fun fashion. I haven't seriously done it in over two years, but my heart is now open to other brands. Oh Mr. Valentino. Oh Little Hermes. Oh elusive Chanel.I mean at least with other brands, you are getting rare colors, soft leathers, chains, bows, shapes and accents that make you do a double take. And to Mr. Louis Vuitton, you don't haven't to keep hitting me over the head to see if my cash has a brain. I don't think I will buy as many bags from Louis Vuitton that I just would "like" to own, now I'm only spending on what I love.A last, I really blame this on Coach with some of their new lines at 400-600.
