The canvas is really a great investment. I think it depends on the piece and all that goes into making it. Something with more detail or more expensive hardware, exotic handle, etc. would be worth spending more. Id love to know what bag you chose. I just ordered from mail-order the never full mm in Damier Ebene and I love the look but its too small for me, i want a bag to chuck everything into. So now i am planning a trip to the city to go into a store. Im weighing up between a Neverfull Gm Ebene (which is my fav print) or Totally Gm in Mono. (azur is not a possibility, I would not be able to keep it clean)Totally pros: Looks nice and tidy and has pocket and zipper, sophisticated look, good for travelTotally Cons: Not sure if it holds as much as NF and not sure if it would be hard to find things at the bottom. Dosnt come in Ebene!NF Pros: Comes in the gorgeous Ebene, Nice and open shape, can throw anything in.NF Cons: No Zipper, possibly too big (but do have option to wear cinched). I was torn btw Monty and Totally also until I tried them on. The Totally, while functional and comfy was just so generic looking-like a plain rectangle. The Monty was chic and much more stylish-easy access too although not really long enough in the strap dept for shoulder carrying. I have a shaper in mine and doesn't sag at also-quite structured. i personally like LV because at first... it was a status symbol like someone mentioned... i'm Asian too haha. anyway... then after owning a Damier Speedy 30 as my first LV purse... i was shocked in the elegance and quality LV can provide. the purse just sitting there by itself makes any room elegant. you can tell they didn't just half * in making the purse by looking at the stitching and such... just very well crafted. another thing is that no matter how "old" the style is... it's still in as long as it's LV along with the fact that it's meant to last! lv evora
