I have both bags, but the Gal is GM. I never use the Gal anymore since the Artsy arrived! I dont think they are similar, the Artsy is much better looking and more organized IMO than the Gal. I had a pair with the Roadscape lenses, the Dahlia Carre. They took some getting used to and actually gave me a headache. I tried to love them but they seemed to cause some eye strain. It seemed there was some distortion or something. I can't really explain it. I exchanged for the Soupçon with the Landscape lenses and like them much better. There is still some odd things that I see because of the polarization, but they don't strain my eyes as much. I never noticed any of this until I wore them outside. HTH!! m48615

i just got the speedy 30 in damier ebene and i love it!! i think its a timeless and classic piece that every LV collectors should have .. i do like the eva too and thinking of getting myself one next year! so i guess it depends on your needs.. eva will be too small for daily use IMO.. i'd use it for parties and night outs only.. but for work, shopping and casual outings, speedy would be my choice! goodluck with your decision!
